Environ 2023: 33rd Irish Environmental Researchers Colloquium prizegiving – co-hosted by ATU Donegal and Environmental Sciences Association of Ireland and held on Letterkenny campus was attended by 215 delegates and held on April 3rd-5th with (50 posters and 70 oral presentations) 120 presentations delivered. The prizegiving ceremony took place as the conference closed on Wednesday April 5th @ 1:30pm-2:00pm. ESAI Chairperson, Liam McCarton announced on behalf of the Foster Environmental that the winner of the student competition for the Best Organic Waste Recycling Presentation at Environ 2023 was Marta Mroczkowska from SETU Carlow for her oral presentation Recovery of cutin from tomato peels waste and valorisation of this by-product for improvement of hydrophobic properties of biomass-based.
